While SDECC encourages self referrals we also accept referrals initiated by a community health service or health care professional.
Making appointments
All you need to do to make an appointment is give us a call. When you call your details will be taken by a staff member and passed over to our highly qualified, youth friendly intake officer. Our intake officer will call you back within 5 working days to arrange a time for an appointment.
All sessions are 45 min with the first appointment being an assessment going for about an hour. Counselling usually lasts for 10-12 sessions however, depending on your circumstances, further sessions may be needed.
All services provided are free and confidential and no medicare card is needed. However donations are welcome.
