SDECC is a Not for Profit, charitable organisation which specialises in providing free counselling and support for young people aged 14 -25 with problematic alcohol and other drugs (AOD) use and their families. SDECC works within a family inclusive, trauma informed framework and our highly qualified counsellors understand the complexities of AOD use, including any mental health issues.
SDECC is now offering our services at both Manly and St Leonards.
SDECC’s philosophy is one of harm minimisation, in line with the National Drug Strategy.
All services are free and confidential. However, donations are welcome.
No Medicare card is required. While self-referrals are encouraged they may also be initiated by a community health service or healthcare professional.
